Hi Shawn,

I had a great weekend, after much planning: Saturday p.m. from SNS to RDD; then Sunday to Alturas, Bend, and Nampa. Interesting terrain that I have driven a few times. Flew back today!

My parents live about 10 miles from Nampa. Saw my family, great views, and all in all a great aviation experience for this new pilot.

Today, fueling and peeing at Burns, Oregon, 3 Cubs flew in... each with a father & son, having been on a camping/fishing/flying weekend from Hood River, OR, to the Owyhee Reservoir (where I fished as a kid with my dad). It was cool to see them.... and Nampa was where your Cub was!

Anyway, I cannot thank you enough for your excellent training. I am constantly thinking what you would say and want and expect. There is nothing like a great CFI. But then we need to leave the nest and test our wings on our own.
